It used to be enough to enjoy "the little things" in life 10 years ago. Now a constant sense of urgency has nestled into my head or heart or some other metaphorical cavity in me and won't let me feel much more than constantly buzzing worry that something is running out before my eyes and I'm missing it. (And it weighs me down like a thick, unbeatable swamp.) What am I supposed to have accomplished by now anyway?

  1. To be married, to be able to work, cook, clean, do laundry, raise the kids, serve and satisfy ur husband's needs at the same time. To have matured and forsaken your idealistic views, and replaced them with thoughts of more important daily activities. To be no longer interested in philosophy and psichology, and to not speak of it with your husband's friends, in order to not make them feel stupid. You should care about who Azis is dating and how to make tomato soup with meatballs instead, and to speak of it with your mother-in-law and her neighbours. To have put aside ur feminine pride and have accepted the laws and restrictions that male-oriented society determines. To have agreed after meeting ur husband's folks to share their common home, which make no mistake, even in 20 years will still be THEIRS and not yours, and by no means should you forget that. There, you will be in charge of chores, whilst everybodyelse will be in charge of ur life. In time, you should learn to prepare your husband's fishing and hunting gear, so that he won't have to wake up too early in the morning before going out for that. Gradually, you should even learn to predict when ur husband will want to go fishing, like for example on ur anniversary day - he will surely want to go away in the mountains for a couple of days. You should encourage your kid's keen interest in chalga musik and under no circumstances you should not play jazz in your husband's home, for it may spoil the kids and upset the neighbours.
And much more, but I have no time to get into details, couse I have a computer game to attend to, while my wife is cooking, cleaning and doing the laundry.

    :)
