On the posture of reading

I want a home with a window seat and a library. I would arrange my books by the period of my life when they made an impact on me, by colour, by prettiness and by my attachment to the author, in a mix of proper respect for the contents and frivolous affinity for the form.

Meanwhile, I have my Goodreads shelves. Only if I had that window seat too.

Choose my choice

"The third wave died when women decided "I choose my choice" feminism was more important than any actual ideology. It's a symptom of our time. No one wants to make the effort to analyze and reflect on their own oppressive actions and beliefs, because that means they'd have to change. It's much easier to embrace the status quo and claim it's exactly what you wanted all along."
